THIS WEEK’S EVENTS:
THURSDAY: Lone Star Food Truck outside, Saints-Falcons on the projector at 7:30.
Saturday is a HUGE day at PPBC. We have Yoga at 10 a.m. ($11, includes a beer), the downtown Christmas parade at 5:15 p.m., Nomadic Eats is doing a special PPBC menu starting at 5 p.m. Also, the University of West Florida will be playing its Division II national semifinal game at 11 a.m., and if available, we will be showing the game live on the projector.
Thank you for your patience as we get more beer up and rolling. We’ve been producing our awesome product on overtime thanks to our community’s support of late and plan to have 7 of our own beers on tap, including a couple re-runs of what you’ve already enjoyed, up and running by the middle of the month.
BEERS: We will be putting our Bru/e Beer, a Belgian Pale Ale, and a Hibiscus Wheat on tap for the first time tonight. Brewed with tropical Huell Melon hops and a fruity Belgian yeast strain Bru/e maintains a balanced equilibrium for such an exhilarating style. Light, refreshing, and low in bitterness. We named the beer Bru/e on an interesting coincidence: The road that intersects north into Garden St. in front of our brewery is named Brue Street, and before 1890 was named BRU St. BRU is also the airport code for Brussels, Belgium (BRU … Belgian Pale, get it?).
Our Kettle Soured IPA is coming along brilliantly, and we’re so excited to get that in your hands by this weekend. It was dry hopped on Monday.
FOOD TRUCKS: We’ll have food trucks EVERY NIGHT this week.
Tuesday: Tacos Mexicanos
Wednesday: Two Birds
Thursday: Lone Star (Free apps from 4-5 p.m.)
Friday: Two Birds
Saturday .. a bit of a secret, but we’ll have a special food truck day with Nomadic Eats. More details to come.
