It’s finally here! Thank you all for the overwhelming support. We’re glad we’ve made it and we’re excited to see you this week.
Before we get into any details, I want to remind all of our great customers that this is our first week. We know things won’t go perfectly on our end. We’ll take a little longer. We’ll make a couple more mistakes. We will run out of stuff most likely. Please bear with us and be patient as we shake off the opening-week rust. We still promise you great customer service, a smile, and interactions with the best employees in the world. Thank you for your patience!
When are we open?
Tuesday 5 p.m. (4 p.m. for Founder’s Club members, more info on that below)
Wednesday: 4 p.m.
Thanksgiving: 7 p.m.
Friday: 11 a.m.
Saturday: 10:30 a.m.
Notice we don’t have closing times as of yet. The safe bet is that we are open until at least 10 p.m. each night, and for Tuesday and Wednesday night we will be open late.
After this week, we’ll fall back into our regular hours posted on PerfectPlain.com.
Will we have food?
Yes. This week and after, our goal is to have one or multiple food trucks on site during lunch and dinner times to keep you nourished. Today, Tuesday, and Wednesday, The awesome Two Birds food truck will be out front from 6-11 p.m. We will have another brand new truck coming online and opening for the first time on site later in the week. Stay tuned for that.
What beers are on tap?
You’re not much for suspense, are you? We’ll have six beers on tap for opening with two more coming online this week. Some have very limited quantities, so no guarantees how long it will last. We will be posting our grand opening tap list on our social media on Tuesday morning. Be on the lookout.
Notable schedule of events
A couple really cool things to tell you about this week:
Wednesday, 5:30-7 p.m.: Daniela De Castro, who has worked tirelessly on our taproom mural of Rachel Jackson, will complete the work from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday. Come watch her finish it live.
Friday, 5:30-8:30 p.m.: Live music will be in the taproom courtesy of ultra-talented guitarist Mark Grundhoefer from 5:30-8:30. More details on the Facebook Event Page here.
Saturday: Our management group, riddled with Florida State alumni, would like to invite you to watch two sub .500 teams face off at 11 a.m. Also known as FSU-Florida. We’ll have the projector running so FSU and UF fans can keep an eye on it while simultaneously drowning their tears of ugly seasons with the best beer around. We’ll have rivalry week games on TV all Saturday long.
Are children welcome?
Well, the owner has the cutest 3-year-old ever, so yes. While we wouldn’t suggest bringing your tots at 11 p.m. on a Saturday night, lowering the stress levels of parenting with a fine beer while your kids play the ring toss game or life size jenga is not only welcome, it is encouraged.
What’s the Founder’s Club?
We started the Founder’s Club to connect people with the best beer experience possible. The club membership technically begins in 2018, but members are getting in an hour early today, this Tuesday at 4 p.m. to assure they will have a chance to purchase all beers available. There are limited spots remaining, and the cost is $249 for an annual membership that begins in January. The perks are listed below, but that is just the start of what we expect to give our most loyal patrons.
If you are interested in signing up Tuesday, e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible to ensure you are on the list for entry at 4 p.m. today. If you miss out on today, no fear, this was an added value event to what you’re already getting, so there will be plenty more beer pre-release parties for you guys throughout the year.
See you this week!
