We’re so excited to officially join the Pensacola community with Saturday’s Grand Opening! We open at Noon, but the Grand Opening runs from 4 p.m. until midnight. Here’s the lowdown on what to expect at the opening:
Beer: We plan to have eight of our own beers on tap including Clouds for Mountains Northeast IPA, South by Northwest Saison, Soury Mrs. Jackson Kettle Sour, Far Far Away Galaxy Pale Ale and our Durnford English Mild. We have ALSO have three exclusive, one-day-only brews with just one keg of each. You don’t want to miss it.
Food Trucks: Globetrotter Street Food, a new truck from our pal Winston Evans (Khon’s on Palafox) as well as our friend Eric Pommering (Two Birds) will be on site throughout the opening. PPBC Founder’s Club members will be receiving a free beer and free food coupon during the Grand opening!
ART FOR CHARITY – 4-6 p.m.: Two incredible local artists, Famous Gabe Smith of Hula Moon and Daniel de Castro Sucre, the muralist who did the Rachel Jackson piece in our taproom, will be doing live art demonstrations in our taproom. Their works will then be raffled off to benefit Pathways for Change. Raffle tickets will be $10 and we will limit it to the first 100 tickets sold. Ask any bartender starting Friday.
LIVE MUSIC, 8-10 p.m. Adam Roth, the lead singer of Grizfolk, will be playing live at PPBC. Adam, a Gulf Breeze native, and his band have toured all over the world including Red Rocks, Radio City Music Hall and more. They have made musical appearances on the Late Show with David Letterman and Conan and their music getting millions of plays on streaming services. We’re lucky to have Adam as a friend of PPBC.
Founders Club ONLY: Each of our Founder’s Club members will be getting a free beer and 5 bucks to spend at either of our food trucks. Even though the Founder’s Club memberships don’t begin until 2018, we can’t thank them enough for their support. Just a small token of our appreciation. If you’re interested in signing a friend up for Founder’s Club, we have very limited spots remaining in order to keep its exclusivity. Contact BB Liggett at email@example.com for more information on costs, perks, bottle release reservations, and all the awesome things you get as part of your membership.
When do we open?
We open at Noon on Saturday, and though the grand opening begins at 4, yo can come enjoy a beer before that, no problem.
Will there be food?
Yes, two food trucks available. You also have the option to bring your own food.
Can you bring kids?
PPBC welcomes families as part of our mission to create great experiences for our customers. Our staff loves bringing their kids in on off nights. However, we expect a large crowd in the later hours of the opening Saturday and would suggest bringing the little ones in earlier during the day.
Do we fill growlers?
No. We have a 32 oz. crowler machine, but we have NOT finalized yet whether crowlers will be available on Saturday given the expected crowd (they take a little longer to make and could slow us down a little more than we’re comfortable in order to provide great service).
